Welcome to Pinkie Parties! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Sara, a homemaker, creative, party planner, and the person behind this little corner of the internet. I’ve always loved putting together celebrations and finding ways to make ordinary moments feel a little more special. Give me a theme, a Pinterest board, a pile of craft supplies, and probably way too many ideas, and I’m happy.

Pinkie Parties was born from something I was already doing naturally — planning parties, making decorations, searching for the perfect little details, trying DIY projects, and finding products I genuinely loved along the way. I realized that I wanted a place to share all of it, including the things that worked, the things that didn’t, and the things I would do differently next time.

My first big project that inspired this blog was planning a vintage Winnie the Pooh baby shower for my cousin. I poured so much time, creativity, and love into the details, and after the shower I realized I didn’t want all of those ideas, projects, and lessons to just live in my camera roll. I wanted to share them with other people who love celebrating just as much as I do.

Here you’ll find party inspiration, DIY projects, decorations, recipes, shopping guides, things I’ve learned along the way, and lots of colorful ideas for making your own celebrations feel personal and special.

I’m not a professional event planner, and I certainly don’t have everything figured out. I’m just someone who genuinely enjoys creating beautiful things and finding clever ways to make a party come together — sometimes with a big budget, sometimes with a very small one, and sometimes with a lot of improvising!

One of my favorite parts of planning a party is the little details. The handmade favor. The unexpected color combination. The decoration that took three tries to get right. The recipe that becomes a favorite. Those are the things I want to share here.
